This week we kicked off the 2015-16 New England Pride season with our annual hockey camp at Fesseden Ice Arena. We're excited to not only continue to work with our returning players, but would also like to welcome all those players who are new to the Pride program. As always, the mission of our program is to focus on total player development. We believe it is as important for all our players to develop their hockey skills as it is for them to grow and mature as an individual. We believe in creating a fun family environment for our players, and like to balance our season with hard work, healthy competition, and the opportunity to build friendships that will last a lifetime. We'll see you soon.
As the new season approaches for Pride, we wanted to remind all players and their families of some key checklist items.
~ Make sure you have registered with USA Hockey. A link can be found at www.nepridehockey.com under the "About" tab.
~ Go through and ensure all your paperwork is up-to-date and completed before we begin practicing on August 31st. This would include:
Please note that these documents are available on www.nepridehockey.com and can be found under the "About" tab. And if you have any questions, you can also reach out to your team manager.
Every game is a series of small battles in the open ice, in the corners or in front of the nets. Pride Hockey knows that the more you work your skills the better chance you have to win those battles every time you step on the ice. And although we focus on development throughout the season, Michals Hockey Academy offers Pride Players the opportunity to get extra work in to develop skills. Whether a player wants to work on your skating or improve stick handling, Michals Hockey Academy can help. We currently have availabilities for Semi-Private Blademill and Semi-Private Goalie Lessons. If you'd like to schedule Private Lessons, Combo Lessons, or Shooting/Stick Handling Lessons, email us at email@example.com or call 617-558-3267. We look forward to seeing you soon!
To enhance a players performance and get the most out of our training programs, Michals Hockey Academy offers Pride players the opportunity to do blade mill training, and skills work on synthetic ice. Watch our video below to see all of these effective training techniques in action.
